Go Green Challenge
Ippatsu Salon is going green and we want YOU to help us make a difference and be a part of this positive change. Send in your photos and you may be the winner of free dinner for two at our new favorite hot spot!
What is the Go Green Challenge?
The planet needs our help and you can be a part of it by doing things in your own home. The goal is to make as many changes as possible in your life to “go green.”
Examples:
- Recycle
- Switch out your light bulbs to energy efficient ones
- Use cloth napkins instead of paper
- Start your own compost pile
The list goes on and on!
Here are the Rules for the Go Green Challenge:
You will have to accomplish our set of tasks first (if they pertain to you). As you do, be sure to take a picture of you doing so!
1. When a light goes out change it to and energy efficient light.
2. Instead of buying water bottles get a filter for your sink or your fridge. Start to carry our own reusable water bottle.
3. Try carrying your own container for food if you go out to dinner and want to bring home leftovers.
4. If you use paper napkins, switch to reusable cloth napkins.
5. Carpool.
6. When possible ride your bike places instead of driving.
7. Switch your bills to online statements and auto withdraws.
8. As your cleaning products run out try buying “green” cleaning products.
9. Make your own compost pile.
10. RECYCLE!
Get creative and come up with your own ways of going green! This will earn you bonus points!
Don’t cheat because we have eyes everywhere!
Encourage your friends to go green and support each other!
Complete all tasks by the deadline—Saturday, June 14th—and email us your pictures!
Ippatsu will then look at all of your pictures to see who has “gone green” the most. We will announce the winner on June 17th.
By participating in the “Go Green Challenge” you are giving Ippatsu Salon the right to use your Name, Image and Photos that you have submitted to our website ippatsusalon.com and in any advertising done for our Go Green Campaign.
